We (Norway) won the Eurovision Song Contest 2009! Ooo yay! We even beat the point record of all times with over 300, alsmost 400 points! Oh my, oh my, I’m sooo happy! :D And proud! :D I don’t even usually watch ESC, but this year I would say I was a great follower. Or good at least. So I wrote down this for you; the list of points we got:
12, 10, 12, 8, 12, 3 (say what?:P), 12, 12, 8, 12, 12, 12, 10, 10, 8, 8, 2 (say whaaat?), 12,10, 8, 10, 10, 10, 3, 7, 10, 10, 12, 12, 12, 10, 5, 5, 7, 8, 12, 8, 12, 8, 12, 8 – just look at all those 12-s! WE RULE. We got points from every single country, and almost all of them (except 7) were the top points (8, 10 and 12)! Oh my.
Now, my personal favorites were France (03), Armenia (9), Russia (10) and Moldova (13). And Norway (20) of course, I kinda have to feel that way, right?
These are the top 5 of ESC 09:
- Norway
- Iceland
- Azerbaijan
- Turkey
- United Kingdom
But a double congrats to Norway now! Congrats for the victory, and congrats for being May 17th – our Constitution Day. A GREAT day for us this year. Woho!
(This is him winning in Norway, will add the winning performance in Moskow when it’s out on youtube)
